Stanford Mathematics Phd With 4+ Years Experience
Hi! I'm a Ph.D. student in (pure) mathematics at Stanford University. As an undergraduate at Stanford (class of '10) I tutored in a variety of forms, including one on one tutoring for high school mathematics and physics, group tutoring for varsity athletes taking calculus, and as tutoring for higher mathematics courses. I enjoy interacting with students and helping everyone realize their full potential. I am confident that I can work with your student to turn mathematics/physics into a positive, fun experience!
I don't just spend all of my time studying and tutoring. Outside of school/work, I enjoy sports - I played club ice hockey (I'm a goalie) as an undergraduate at Stanford, and last year while I was at Cambridge University (getting my masters in mathematics), I rowed in my college's first men's VIII+ boat. I also enjoy food and exploring my new city, San Francisco.
my son, Gianluca seemed to have enjoyed his first session. Otis took didn't overwhelm him with information. We're looking forward to the next session.
Otis is 3 times smarter than the next smartest person I know. He is really, really smart. He's also extremely patient and great at explaining things. He helped me with computer science and math at Stanford and it was amazing how much I learned from him.
